_ Acadiana fans will then have to divide up. If we get Hollier, then 2/3 go to Cajun games and 1/3 go to LSU. IF LSU grey shirts Eugene, then only 1/4 will be going to the LSU games.
We could see a huge attendance drop if Hollier sneaks into LSU. We would then only be eligible for a 1/3 of the Acadiana crowd. _

I know he is ONLY a lineman--but is there a Smith factor?????

At any given high school football game, probably 95% of the people in attendance are there because they know someone on the team, in the band, cheerleader, etc.

At a given college football game, 95% of the people in attendance are there to be entertained and/or show support for the school, and have no connections to any of the players.

That's why I don't buy the idea that signing local players will make any measurable difference in attendance. This isn't high school.

Hey J-Town Cajun....it's been a while since I stopped working in Jennings, how is JHS dealing with Coach Hud encroaching on Viator's stake? Normally I would just ask the people at the Sheriff's office but I'm working back in Lafayette now. Any insight?
