Montrel Carter has said it's down to the Cajuns and Memphis. Coach Hudspeth hasn't visited in home with him yet. But they will wait on Carter, he is a special talent. Bakari Hollier needs to make up his mind soon because Coach Hudspeth is bringing in some good corner prospects from Mississippi and if they commit, he is not going to hold a spot for him.
If I'm a local kid like Tatford and Hollier holding offers, I would talk with Coach Hudspeth soon if they are going to consider playing at UL. There are a number of kids still not committed at their positions that the staff is on that are very good. With Proctor committed now and Scofield still committed to Tulane, I don't see that changing now.
Hudspeth, Stringer and Saunders have great recruiting reputations in Mississippi the doors are already opened. I expect this class to be at 15 commits by Monday or Tuesday, not counting Molbert or Williams. While they remain committed, Coach Hudspeth has not made any decisions on either yet and so I'm only counting what commitments have been verified by this staff.
Unfortunately, the longer some Louisiana kids wait the less likely they will be part of the 2011 Signing Class. Coach is not going to pass on commitments from quality athletes in Mississippi to wait on Louisiana kids.
As it should be.

At the same time that it may be the Louisiana kids loss, it is also the Cajuns, and now Coach Hud's loss for not keeping a spot for 2 of the best local prospects just because he has some good prospects from Mississippi. No matter what position Coach needs to fill....Hollier and Tatford should be top priority to keep in Lafayette
Because I'm sure attendance will be wildly higher with them. Is that the reason?
