Recruiting week end

Guys the ability of the people on this board has no limit----Now lets put our heads together and make this a huge effort for our recruits---What do we need to do??? What can we do??? Who can get the ball rolling----Just some thoughts of welcome signs all over town saying "UL wants you and needs you"-----"New Ragin' Cajuns wanted"---things like this---How about a pep rally/Party with a bunch of students and faculty------I think we play Monroe--we need a larger then usual crowd to get them excited----You guys up to it????Any parents of players --we need ideas!!!!!!

Sounds like some good ideas Boomer.....there are alot of rules with the NCAA and recruits so be careful. I am sure signs and all would be ok. I asked my son what would bring students to the games.....he suggested food. Students never pass up a meal. Just serve it inside the stadium! lol

I know it is early but ---Crawfish boil for Faculty/players/recruits/coaches/Ladies/music---Have it in the IPF or the Hall next to the Dome!!!!! We could do this before the game and show some video of the new coaches with Cheers from the students and fans!!!!!

guys i dont wanna be the downer here, but thats a very, very fine line to walk with the NCAA. Could be considered an extra benefit if a recruit takes part. Best way I have ever noticed to make an impact like you said is to show up at the basketball game and be wild and crazy. Just be careful, cause i am sure you got lurkers from Monroe on here that would love to know you are planning something like this

Not just Moanroe, add in Ruston and Lake Charles... and some from Baton Rouge and a little from New Orleans. Although not hear much out of New Orleans lately. Maybe its because Uno and Tulane actually have their own shizz that they need to worry about. Just wish the rest of the State would get a life.

This is a little off topic, but since you mentioned Lake Chuck. My friend's dad is a former president of the Cowboy Club, and he told me he was getting ready to travel to Lafayette every saturday if we would of hired Viator. That is a big time MSU supporter that would of switched sides just b/c of a coach, they must really love Viator. Anyway I know it is off topic but thought it was funny.
