Yes, as a matter of fact, I think many people felt he should go before Lee. However, it was hard to argue that sentiment when the team played like it did last year. Granted, they were really young and he certainly deserves the recognition of having a much improved year. Every game I've followed, it seems like the only losses are to teams that we were likely not better than while beating all the teams we are better than or can compete with. Seems like they've been much more consistent this year and its showed.

Guys before you get too "geeked" up over UL womens basketball you need to check our Rhineauxs post in the "Johnson scores 36 in UL's win over Troy" thread.

Our girls work awfully hard in the classroom and on the hardwood... this isnt casting aspersions against them. We should be honored that they chose to represent our fine institution.....BUT..

This is not good basketball. If we beat MT this weekend.....maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel......maybe.

And to your point, let me clarify that my comments in that thread have nothing to do with the players, their effort, their commitment, etc. It was meant to place proper perspective on the team's improved record, in response to recent curiosities about whether the program is suddenly moving in the right direction.
