After reading the article and watcing the coaching hires, it seems there are a lot of traits by all of these coaches: Successful and Hard Working Recruiters, All Winners, Highly Motivated to be the Best, Success at being Conference Champions and then Bowl Champions..........

Hope his WR coach hire has Texas, preferably east Texas, tie. It seems like UL should be able to recruit in east and south east Texas and get more players from that area.

Houston is the recruiting mecca of the country. We need more of a presence here.

What kind of defense will we be running with our new DC, a 3-4 or 4-3? With fewer big bodies on defense, I wouldn't mind seeing a 3-4 and utililzing our speed and depth with 4 LBs. Seems like a lot of teams, both college and pro, have moved to a 3-4.

I've been told that the defense will be very multiple. Would not be surprised to see a switch to the 3-4, the scheme that Stewart ran at Jacksonville State.

Just an FYI, since Coach Rodrigue is from Thibodaux, I would imagine his name is pronounced RO-dreg as is common down the bayou. This as opposed to the typical Rah-DREEG that we probably hear more often around here.
