For the past several years yo have been worried about Tech's stars and moanroe's stars. Tell me, what has their record in wins and losses been over the that same time period?

Well a composite ranking gives Tech #78 with a 5-7 record-----ULM #102 with a 5-7 record------UL #111 with a 3-9 record------The following post says stars don't win games------They win them all---Always have and always will---The fact that there is so much interest in them and that they are to a great percent very accurate show the value---and don't forget the recruiting boost that a high star team can get in recruiting remaining those unsigned prospects!!!!

great great point., That QB we had yesterday that ran and passed all over Michigan was a 2star qb that nobody else wanted.

Its not the ranking on signing day that matters, its the ranking when school starts. Gimme the ones that want to be at UL that have gone unnoticed till now. Stars or not, your gonna love these Mississippi kids.

most kids get stars after their junior years. look at Deshauns video, you think if he played that way 3 years he would be a 2 star? its totally subjective and depends on who is giving stars. Hud was our best recruiter, and alot of the kids he got for us turned out to be diamonds in the rough

so if you gonna put all your future success into what Scout or Rivals says you might not ever be happy. lol

I would take my chances ----but these kids can play---I love receivers that played b-ball------Stokley didn't play football till his sr. year in HS but did quite well ---When you think about it ---every time in b-ball they come up court on offense and have to read Man or zone coverage---Well guess what happens in many football programs --they read the disguised coverage as they come off the LOS and adjust their routes to the most advantageous areas for a completed pass!!!!!
