Thread: The Trials and Tribulations of Orien Greene

  1. UL Basketball The Trials and Tribulations of Orien Greene

Orien Greene is well aware he would have fit nicely as a Celtic. "Oh man," he says, "my friends tell me that all the time. Every time the Celtics are on TV."

When I ran track here we would go play with them during their offseason and Orien and dwayne were the best athletes bar none on campus regardless of the sport.

I felt the same about both. Thought they could have been great track athletes...or great wide-receivers or D-backs.

Mitchell was a really good HS football player and considered going out for football but his basketball future seemed to bright at the time. I believe Mitchell would have made a Tony Gonzalez type TE.

As for as DB, I have never seen a 6'5" DB.

Patrick Watkins safety for the Chargers is 6'5

He was the only one I knew off the top of my head, only because he is the biggest DB I have ever seen. Your statement peeked my interested so I went and looked at NFL rosters. There are a ton of 6'3 DB's but none 6'4 and up, except Watkins.

I'd love to see The Hornets give Orien a tryout.
