The coaches have not told him they were not offering him as per him this morning. It's amazing how text messages work. I think it would be best for all involved to stop speculating on UL offering him or not until after his visit this weekend.

Nothing personal, but Guy is denying that UL told him he was welcome as a walk-on. I don't think speculation is helping his recruitment. IMO _

The fact that someone would do what appears to have been done in this thread not only disturbs me, but really makes me angry.

Guy, sounds like you have a bright future no matter where you choose to play ball and further your education. From what I've seen and read about you, I certainly hope that you decide to come to Lafayette and play for the University of Louisiana.

As for any jackwagons on here that want to try to actually make an effort to undermine this school's recruiting efforts, I hope the swiftest of banhammers is dropped upon you on this site.

Did not mean for it to be taken the way it was I VERY MUCH want him to play at ULL. I very Much would love for him to get an offer or even walk on! I mispoke in my thread I apologize to all. Guy is a fine young man. Everything will work out for him in the long run. If he becomes a Ragin'Cajun, he and his family will be welcomed with open arms. We are not perfect, but Cajun fans are a unique bunch.

If you DID speak to him, how and why would you tell him something out of pure speculation with no knowledge firsthand of what the coaches are planning to do? I understand and appreciate that you apologized but you are obviously not doing the young man any favors. I don't know Guy and hope he ends up here but I'd certainly advise him to cut off communication wit you until everything is sorted out...

No, but Mullen is not happy with Coach Hudspeth recruiting Miss athletes, and some of the JC's they were holding.
