    Heymann Golf event to be played Monday

    LOUISIANA La. — The Herbert Heymann Memorial Golf Classic, the major fundraiser for the University of Louisiana’s golf team, is scheduled today with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start at Oakbourne Country Club.

    A field of nearly 150 players will be participating in the four-person scramble tournament, which annually raises over $20,000 for the Ragin’ Cajun program.

    Activities begin with registration at 10 a.m. and an 11:30 a.m. lunch, and a post-tournament dinner and awards ceremony will be held after play.
