_ Briggs is in the same position as Carter, he is headed to LSU this weekend. If they offer him a grey-shirt, he will probably take it. The staff will have several other athletes in this weekend that will give them options. _

Yes we do have a secret recruit, but it's our hope that he will not hold water. The training staff and assistants should take care of that.

_ Look I want Carter here as bad as anyone else, but I would personally rather have Briggs because of his size and speed that would create mismatches.

Carter is a dynamic player no doubt, but I am tired of the local athletes thinking the grass is always greener somewhere else. For all of the local kids like Porter, hollier, Carter, Tatford and anyone else I am forgetting. They will regret missing out on a time when Cajun football becomes relevant. With them being local, they would be treAted like kings by the fan base. Just like Mitchell, DES, delhomme, Stokely and Fenroy.

I'll take an entire roster made up of Mississippi kids if we are winning.

Good point, you would hope that both parties would go on to success. I want them to regret not coming here for our success, not for their demise, but ideally both enjoy the next 4/5 years.

I too wish any athlete the best of luck in their decisions, even if it is not too our University. What Coach Hud is laying in his first recruiting season (and will probabaly continue in future years) is "Hey, we want YOU to be a RAGIN CAJUN!" But, if the response back is not equal and quick, then it is "Good luck, we only want athletes that WANT to be here!"

The local kids will get the message quickly and as soon as we are winning, their attitudes will change as well!
