Coach Hud will get it done. Coach Edenfield should at least give 5% of his pay to coach hud, who gave him a raise I'm not very worried about this.

Thanks for the info. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of offensive production the Cajuns could have with Edenfield as OC. Now it's on to plan B. I am sure coach Hudspeth can find someone with similar capabilities.

Who cares? Most people had NO idea who Coach Edenfield was (although I think he will be a big name, soon). UL hired Coach Hud, and we followed closely. As much as I'd of liked his buddies with him, he will make things happen! I'm still happy about Coach Hudspeth!!

Are you kidding? UL used to go for 3rd choice in head coach.

And here is the kicker; Unlike as with the OC search today,, UL was never asking them to make a lateral move.

UL football is light years ahead of where it once was.

I guess the part that is a bit of a disappointment to me, is when Coach Hud had an offense in mind, he obviously thought highly of Campbell and Edenfield, even though we really knew very little about these guys before. I'm confident Coach Hud will find someone to run his style offense and we will be excited about it when it happens. The waiting part is a killer.

It sure looks like Edenfield (Hud's friend?) played us and had no intention to move, because he eats at his Mother-in-laws every Sunday.

Cmon guys let's not be bitter (although I am!).

It's always a big risk to leave your current job where you're family is happy, AND where you're highly successful.

This is business, and Edenfield made his choice.

I can't blame him, but I can look forward to shutting down his offense next year!

He was able to get several of his friends significant raises.
