Cajuns 76 vs. Aggies 82

Poor help side defense on the late layup that made it a four point game. Rotation was late by both Farrington and Bureau. Also, Cajuns did not focus on their three point shooter a couple of times in the late going and he made them pay. Other than turnovers this was the best Cajuns offensive game. Rebounding was also a strength. Unfortunately, it was not their best defensive game and that came back to haunt them. I wonder what would the outcome have been had the offensive basket interference call not taken a basket away. That call may have determined the outcome of the game. I was encouraged by how many layups the Cajuns shot. The Mbamalu kid is improving and is starting to finish plays. If the team keeps playing this hard they will win a few games even some on the road if they just play a little smarter.

Jay just said we had 23 turnovers. No matter how well you do on the boards, it is hard to overcome a no. that high. I agree the team is improving but there have been enough moral victories in this program and I don't get excited about them anymore. Time for more scoreboard victories to come our way. I don't know how many we will get this year but I agree we may be headed in the right direction long term.

Agree impressed that they never gave up. We have to work on our fouls. NMSU was in double bonus at 10:00 and we did not get to 1-1 until 4:00. Agree our guards are tending to collapse a little too deep and leaving shooters open. Great team effort. Courtney and Colby finally got into the game. Real team effort and really starting to show that heart we been looking for. Also bad call on basket interference. Would of tied the game.

They looked 10 times better than the last two games I've seen them in. I'll take a moral victory tonight.
