Poor help side defense on the late layup that made it a four point game. Rotation was late by both Farrington and Bureau. Also, Cajuns did not focus on their three point shooter a couple of times in the late going and he made them pay. Other than turnovers this was the best Cajuns offensive game. Rebounding was also a strength. Unfortunately, it was not their best defensive game and that came back to haunt them. I wonder what would the outcome have been had the offensive basket interference call not taken a basket away. That call may have determined the outcome of the game. I was encouraged by how many layups the Cajuns shot. The Mbamalu kid is improving and is starting to finish plays. If the team keeps playing this hard they will win a few games even some on the road if they just play a little smarter.
