Shame on the current executive editor of the Advertiser ( Karen Lincoln-Michel ) for not keeping the promise of her predecessors.

Karen Lincoln Michel, executive editor of The Daily Advertiser and the Opelousas Daily World, has submitted her resignation, effective Oct. 25.

I don't know how they'd think that's a successful strategy for increasing readership.

BTW. When checking out the article I noticed a headline stating the Miss Louisiana 2014 pageant will be held in Lafayette this weekend. Will the winner be forced to wear a sash that says "Miss Louisiana 2014 at Lafayette"?
