Damn... I work with his son. I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Charlie when we were invited to go to celebrate with their tailgating krewe... Seemed like a really good guy.

My heart is breaking right now. He was one of the dearest people I have ever met. I looked forward to seeing him at every home game. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathy to his dear family. May you find strength and comfort.
Thanks to all for your kind words and sympathy. The Daigle family truly, truly appreciates every single one of them. When God was doling out daddies, he sure did right by us. We are missing him so much, but we know he is in Heaven guarding us now and cheering on his beloved Ragin' Cajuns!
Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for affirming for us how much he was loved and how blessed we were to be loved by him.
We at Middle Tennessee are very saddened by your loss.
When I say "your" I mean his family & the entire Cajun fanbase.
I feel very honored to have met Charlie on several occasions. He made me feel as if I'd known him my entire life. Heck, he made me feel as though I was a member of his "extended" family.
I guess what I'm trying to say is.......... I'm also saddened by my loss.
I'm so sorry to hear about Charlie. I met him at a Troy game severals years ago. We became internet friends and I never failed to get to the ULL game early enough to see him and the Krewe. He even came to Troy once and stayed with me. My wife and I will miss him terribly but we will stop by next year when Troy plays the Cajuns again.
He was the epitome of a fan. Friendly to all but faithful to his Cajuns!
Very very sorry for your loss Cajun Family. Even though I am new to the family, let me send my sincere and heart felt condolences to his family and the entire Cajun family
