No visits this weekend, Coach Stringer went home because his wife had a baby. Visits will start after the "Dead Period" in January.

In your opinion... and I hate to ask, but how many 3 star players can we realistically expect to sign in year one?

Expect more then we have in the past. But understand, some athletes that aren't ranked, will be re-evaluated like Micah Eugene. He will be ranked as a three or four star recruit soon.

New assistant UL DL coach Marquese Loving made a trip to Jennings this afternoon to visit the coaching staff and primarily look at ATH Bryson Abraham. Although I can't confirm that an official offer was made or not but I was told that the JHS thought that UL was going to offer Abraham. Also Coach Loving was impressed with both RB's from Jennings even more so with Micheal Wilridge making a statement that he just came from the SEC and he is as fast has anyone there right now.

One funny story I got. This was Loving's first trip to Jennings and after his visit he was heading to Crowley next and asked the JHS coaching staff for directions. He was told he just passed it up about 15 miles back on the way in.

Anyone not familiar with Cajun country can get lost easily, and almost every town is 15 miles from each other (one day's buggy ride). I used to get lost on the way to Church Point.
