I'm trying to come up with a list of A. Hays Town designed houses in the area. Anyone know of any, add them to the list if you don't mind.

There is a nice book which documents alot of his work around here. It might help you out.

Would be a long list. There are 3 in the neighborhood where I grew up and another dozen in New Iberia that I am aware of. Probably significantly more in Lafayette. Interestingly enough, many of his in NI are not the large houses that he is known for but nicely built modest homes constructed in the 50s & 60s.

There are several A Hays Town homes in UL area including one just off Girard Park circle that recently sold.

Oh wow, good luck. At some points I believe he designed a building/home a week.

He even designed a lot of the homes in BR for the LSU fans. which led to an interesting fundraising standoff a few years ago. It's too long to tell now.

Oh, and I think most of the buildings in the Oil Center were designed by him.

Stop by Alumni Center. Main house building - living room (lower section), book on table with photos, etc. At least was there last week. Amazing Architect. Engineer's dream.
