I am willing to bet that there are regular students living in those dorms. The number is probably a very small percentage, but T Boone Pickens has donated nearly $500 million dollars to that university, with over $350M going to academics and buildings.

True but this video was not dorms, this was the basketball arena and locker rooms/training facilities for basketball. This would be like UL students not on athletic scholarship going into the indoor practice facility and using all it's amenities

That should give our guys some idea of what the stadium enhancements might include. It will be a huge step up from our double-wides.

Big money has totally taken over college athletics and those with the money are steadily putting more and more distance between the haves and the have nots. Without the dollars that come with AQ conference membership, or a generous alumni like Boone Pickins (or both as is the case of OSU), closing the gap has become virtually impossible. This is very disheartening to me. Does the window of opportunity still even exist for schools like UL to ever get on more equal footing with the AQ schools?

Yes, the window of oportunity still exists. The sky hasn't fallen yet.

    The window has never existed.

    Equal, NO.

More equal, as long as you are constantly improving. It is not always who has the best and most stuff that wins.
