The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office now confirms that a body has been found on property owned by Dr. Robert Chastant (left) on Sugar Oaks Road in Iberia Parish. Deputies made the discovery at around 9:00 Monday night. The body has not been identified, and the coroner has yet to determine a cause of death. Concerning the disappearance of Dr. Chastant, deputies are questioning individuals who were last seen in his vehicle, which was found abandoned in the Walmart parking lot in New Iberia. He was reported missing early Monday morning when he did not show up for work.
