one of the biggest things that i heard from many of the players was that bustle was a nice guy and a good coach but he was a horrible motivator. After watching that interview with Coach Hud I don't think we will have that problem any more!!!

I was there this morning and you could feel Coach Huds energy. He will turn this program around. I have watched the video and will watch it again. Its a good day to be a Ragin Cajun.
Also of note: he mentions getting fans out of the parking lot and into the stadium. Someone is listening.

From ESPN1420.com ... I like the new site and all but someone needs to pay more attention to the pictures and captions ...

this is something that stuck out to me (along with other stuff that has already been mentioned on here)
“I want to reach out to our former players. I am sure there are a few in the audience today and I’ve received a few e-mails from them already. We have many great players such as Jake Delhomme, Brandon Stokely, Brian Mitchell, Ike Taylor and Charles Tillman and John Bordelon to just name a few. These guys are invited to be a part of our program. I want them coming to practice and being around our players. I want every former player to know that you are welcome immediately starting today. We are going to bring you back. We are going to get everybody involved. We are going to make this a joint effort. We are going to do it together.”
I watched the press conference and I have to say I went to my closet to find my one Ragin Cajun sweatshirt, but as I was putting it on, my Cowboy shirts started to protest!
He is a very good public speaker and he is saying the right things. I hope for the Cajun faithful that he lives up to his billing and can bring the program to a new level.
