Couldn’t make it...PLEASE post the video/sound when it is made available.
Key points at the Hudspeth press conference include the following;
Will outwork everyone-offseason will be toughest ever for guys.
Fence to be put around Louisiana in regards to recruiting.
Spring game will be promoted more than ever. Wants as many fans as possible to attend.
Systems on offense, defense, and special teams will be aggressive. Offense will be wide open. Best players will also play on special teams (Note this frequently happened under Bustle)-
System in first year will be tweaked to fit personnel. Recruiting will be focused towards doing what the staff prefers in the future.
Although we are behind on recruiting we will make up for it soon.
Assistant coaches to be brought on board will all come from extremely successful programs.
As we expect more from the team, he expects more from all of us fans. We need to donate more-display our connection to the school more and bring more fans into the UL community.
Finally, the difference between what he went through here and at ULM last year is like night and day. I don't think he meant anything negative towards the WarHawks with that comment. He was referring to the commitment from the administration towards moving the program forward.
"As we expect more from the team, he expects more from all of us fans. We need to donate more-display our connection to the school more and bring more fans into the UL community."
...so I quit making excuses and joined RCAF about 5 minutes ago. I've got the banner-waving covered. Need to attend more games.

I liked what he said about this taking a TOTAL Committment from the university, from the President to the guy who cuts grass around the complex, to our alumni, fans and community and he felt like he had that. He wants people to take pride in the university, full support throughtout the community and a packed stadium for the Spring Game. Wants to be the best program in the state. And, he used University of Louisiana. I am really fired up.
That was sweet!!!
