I will give you that they have some talent, but that talent was developed in systems that allowed, sometimes even stressed, individual play. The exceptions being Raymone @ St. Thomas Aquinas, Randell @ Northside, David @ Catholic-N.I. & J.J. @ Scotlandville, most of these players were the #1 offensive options on their teams and they normally did not share the ball. That has continued in college, for the most part, which is why it is easy for intelligent, disciplined teams to beat them. I will admit I am primarily referring to the holdovers from last year's team. I don't know enough about Thomas & Farrington to know what kind of systems they played & Brown is hurt right now, so Lee's recruits are having to take the bulk of the playing time right now, and, as I said, I don't believe they are capable of changing their ways. They have played this way for at least the last 7 years, if Marlin can get them to change their ways this season, he'll deserve a medal.
When will the tailspin end? I am shocked to see this team at 1-7 with Marlin in control. With four of the next five games on the road starting with undefeated UCF on Wednesday I am trying to find a light at the end of the tunnel. Hope its not a freight train!
Seems like you have some inside info. about basketball like me. I heard of the same thing going on about treatment of the players. First of all, you don't lose to a NAIA school when you have D-1A talent. Good coaching would of won this game. Yea his record at another school does not help his situation here. I am not sold on the ones he brought in except the Perz kid, but they need to have plays to get him open.
You are so smart BayouDouche! The sportsman of all sportsmen in the great state of Louisiana!!

You say I am smart, then call me an idiot? I am confused. Hopefully the Cajuns get it together before conference starts.
