Basketball guys...! Is this Marlin the real deal or not? I know he just got started but Shheeez!
As I've previously said, Marlin gets a pass from me this season because Lee's players cannot be relied upon to know how to win.
What is the final score?

Lee's. Players. Marlins players. Please!!!! Coaching is terrible. Offense is non existant. Lets be real folks. His players are no better. Coaching lost this game just like it lost Tulane and Mcneese! Pitiful!!!!
What I am saying is that Marlin has made it a point to talk down to Lee's players. The way he sees them is they cant play for him. Well his players are not superstars. His coaching is leaving alot to be suspect. Tie ball game and he gets a tech. Guess that was motivation for Lees kids that dont have any heart and dont know how to win.

I know you are frustrated. I know you are close with Ramone, and he is going through some growing pains.
I too, don't think we should differentiate between who's players are whose. I disagree that coaching is the problem right now though.
These guys had an 18 point game against McNeese and they let it slip away. Coaches can't coach making Free Throws. Nor can they prevent turnovers. I think the entire program is going through growing pains right now. It will just take a little time.
However, here are the numbers....
Sam Houston was 93-202 in all their years of Division I basketball before Marlin.
In Marlin's 12 years he was 225-131. Including 3/4 conference championships. And beating at the top of the league in most other years. But his first year, they won 12 games.
Marlin was also 123-35 and won a National Championship in Junior College.
I know we all wanted to win this year, but this program is going to go through some growing pains. I'm not ready to say that it is due to poor coaching, because that has not been a problem in Marlin's 20+ year career.
