Thats what I have been asking for the last three years. I am not here to beat a dead horse but when you get kids who "also considered Nichols and Southeastern you are not getting it done.

Its a new age and I am hopeful for those kids on the team now are able to reap the rewards of all of their efforts, but for that to happen change had to occur. It is too bad it took three extra years but its happening and I could not be happier.

For the parents on this board, it was never about the kids. I want them to be able to feel success... thats all it has ever been about

What about Tatford or Eugene for local guys? If we are trying to keep the fence up, it should probably start there.

Coach I think this could be the reason that Troy W has a chance----as the recruiting Coord., Asst HC, UL alumnus---he can share the staffs evaluations with whom they got commits, offered, or were even potential Walk Ons-----Through the years he might also know the asses and true fans and give some head ups to an unsuspecting new coach!!!!!

Coach Wingerter is the O/Line and TE coach right? If that is so....keep him. We have sent OL to the NFL. About to send a TE to the NFL. I may be wrong, but I say keep the guy.

I like Troy, I think that he is a nice person and loves the University, but he has survived every coaching change since Stokely.

Obviously him being retained is about the right people pulling for him, not the success he has had.

It could also be that he was the Recruiting Coordinator. His knowledge could be helpful in transitioning over for the new staff. That could play into him staying onboard.

Troy was the only coach from the old staff at the news conference yesterday if I am not mistaken. He was the only one that I saw. Both Lotief where there Errol Rodgers was there. Coach Bab was there and the girls soccer coach was there. Not sure of any othere. They where the only ones that I recognized.

Coach Lustig was there a couple of rows in front of Troy.
