I served on an All-America selection committee and presented Green's case to be an All-American. Problem was, many of the other voters (almost all representing bigger conferences) discounted Green's production due to playing in the Sun Belt. Others assumed that he was merely putting up big numbers in a spread offense and did no blocking. I did my best to show that he had great numbers in and out of conference play and despite missing time due to injuries. He's definitely on the radar for next year on a national scale.
