Has anybody taken the handle "ConditionalCajun"?

Maybe Bicky Rustle could take that one...

What the hell is wrong with the option? It works for Air Force, Navy, and Army. Notice a trend. They don't exactly have the greatest talent pool to recruit from. They have smart, tough, well conditioned athletes probably not the prototypical BCS athlete. But when we try to run the normal BCS offenses we don't get the the prototypical BCS athlete. People on this forum complain all the time about short passing game, bubble screens, etc. I guarantee one thing no matter what offense the new coach runs someone will complain about it. Give me an offense that no one else in the conference is running whether it is running or passing. I am sick and tired of looking at the spread and the pistol. I want to see a huddle. I don't understand why fire Bustle and run the same scheme. I want something that the other teams have to prepare for once a year. Most of all give me a defense. Everyone is worried about offense. Let us pray for a defense that can be first in conference.

If not, then we need to structure the pay accordingly. And yes, a part of me does want that sizzle factor to play a part of the hire. I would love that hire that would send a message to our other conference mates that we will be a player in the conference for years to come and someone who can recruit regionally and possibly even nationally. _
I'm in total agreement with the quoted paragraph above.

We have been complaining about Bustle and pointing out that for his salary what else could we expect. If we're going to spend the money, then let's make it worthwhile. Otherwise, let's spend the extra cash on items like an additional strength and conditioning coach.

There are only two coaches that have been mentioned in this entire process that I believe moves us into a different category and provides the sizzle. Sadly, according to JP's blog we haven't spoken with one of them.

The complaint was not that we attempted to run bubble screens but that we could not execute them worth a damn.

Don't count me as one of those. I don't care if our next coach has all the attractiveness of a pirate leper with a peg leg and a club foot, as long as we win, I'll be happy. I'm just not sold on Sewak, I just think Hudspeth is a better choice.

He may be staying at MS State after Meyer resigned today. In a different capacity.

I figure, but in my opinion, I'd have him behind Deforest and Pelini, and I'm not sold on the Deforest hire either. Hudspeth was the guy I really wanted, but its looking like hes out, hopefully a miracle occurs and he's the guy here.
