However, people who go strictly for entertainment and are not as passionate as we may stop coming. I just asked the guy I am referring to about this situation one more time. He confirmed my suspicion. If we go to the option, he won't go regardless if we win and win big. Keep in mind he does not lose any sleep over the outcome of our games. He now goes for entertainment and simply does not enjoy watching football that is that unbalanced. Therefore he will find entertainment elsewhere. Again, he probably is an anamoly in regards to his perspective on this. _

Several other casual fans including guys from Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania expressed similar sentiments.

You sir, are the reason this program can not and will not be successful...we haven't even made a coaching decision and we already have so called "die hards" stating they will not show up if a particular coach is hired or if a particular coach runs a certain type of offense.

Just so I don't get lumped in. I would like to indicate that I will continue to support the program whomever they hire. Sewak is just not my first choice.

Overall, I have been less than impressed with the list, but hell, I was super impressed with R. Bustle when hired and here we are now still looking for our 1st bowl game.

I like it and think it is fun to watch.

What I don't like is, I think the athletes needed (OL) lock you into that style of offense for years to come and the coaches who can run it are rare.

So for that reason alone, I say aviod it.

_ I am pretty sure Paul Johnson runs the spread option at GA Tech. That is what Monken uses now at GA Southern. Why would anyone assume Sewak would not run it? Or did I misunderstand your post? _

This is not accurate. Paul Johnson runs the option out of a flexbone formation as a primary set. He may have some shotgun sets but I promise you his QB is running under center flanked by 3 running backs. It's what he brought to Navy and what Navy continues to run today. The triple option he runs and the one we ran in 2005 are completely different.

I hope Scott farmer realizes that if he is hired as the next AD and he hires his "buddy" Sewak, that if it doesn't work out or for some reason or goes really bad, he will catch alot of heat for that hire. I'll be there supporting whoever they hire, I just don't have a good feeling about sewak, don't really know why, just don't. Look at how many people already don't like the idea, it won't take long for people to give up again or say I told you so. I just don't think it's worth the risk.
