_ Why? Ball state is possibly in a greater state of desparation than we are. They are not competitive in their lowely conference two years after nearly spoiling the BCS party. They are in bad shape and they don't have any more significant resources than we do. _

It also depends on whether or not he would like playing a handful of games on Tuesday or Wednesday nights. I know TV exposure is desired, but those MAC schedules seem rough on attendance and gameday festivities.

"Googling testicles" just doesn't sound right to me.

Back to the coaching search... I like it that we are not hearing much from those in the media or their sources. The only way for Farmer and Walker to get the job done... dotting the tease and crossing the eyes... is to keep the negotiations quiet.

Some of the candidates are going to really wish they had gotten deep into negotiation and shown a lot more interest when this is all said and done. I firmly believe we are about to make someone a mid major superstar in the head coaching ranks.
