Thread: Prep for Homecoming

    Default Prep for Homecoming

Cajuns have a 5 home-game winning streak. Next game is about a month away. A little research says that attendance has ranged from 9213 for the Idaho game to a high of 25,083 on 9/25/04. This HC could be the largest attendance in some time.

With the winning streak intact, 3 away games and a good chance of a couple of road wins, HC to follow, the Entertainment books now distributed with "GET ONE TICKET FREE WHEN YOU BUY A TICKET", tailgating playing an ever increasing part of the land mass and gameday activities, thus limited parking.

GET THERE EARLY REAL EARLY FOR HOMECOMING FOR THE BEST PARKING SPOT AND SUFFICIENT TIME TO GET TO THE GAME IF YOU CAN'T GET INSIDE CAJUN FIELD.

    You are so forewarned.

What a great idea. I knew I should have bought a couple.

many kids (including mine) were selling them to raise money for the schools this past year. The small books, which cost $25.00, are nothing but coupons to various hotels, eating places, movies, bowling, skating etc...included were 3 coupons (by one get one free) to UL football games section G, same deal for 3 basketball games, 300 & 400 level seating only.

    Charlie,

Entertainment Books are the relatively new fund-raising vehicles for schools.

The students sell these books of coupons, offers of free stuff from merchants such as Copeland's, Bennigan's, theatres, Ragin Cajun events, golf courses and many more incentives.

    The book sells for $25.00.

UL has three coupons for the football season and six for the basketball season.

This is a great MARKETING idea and should be exposed to every household in the Acadiana area. I am sure that there are more than a FEW thousand Entertainment books sold.

Charlie, don't forget about the Young Ragin Cajun Club. This program offers any youngster 16 & under to be admitted to ANY Ragin Cajun sporting event for general admission seating for the annual price of $45.00.

    James is a member.

PASS THIS ON VIA EMAIL, PHONE AND THREATS.

Regarding the Entertainment Books, the receptionist @ STM said they still had a few in the Development Office. $25.00 each
