Some of our games have been on Wednesday and Friday nights... so technically... I'm kind of looking for round the clock bragging rights.
There you go again with condemning bragging rights. I hope you're willing to tell your new bride that she looks great and smells nice from time to time. We all need superficial bragging rights Mr. Fun. As long as we know what really counts, is it really hurting anyone?
By the way... "not embarrassing" is the slightly prettier sister of "bragging".... but only slightly.
Embarrass us? Like doing Hampton commercials? I agree. We don't want that.
And to your point in another thread about a coach being too "flamboyant"...Mike Leach was considered a little too "flamboyant" for our previous administration. I bet they wish they could have that one back.
It doesn't really matter if the guy is flamboyant or calm, mean or nice, loud or quiet, gay or straight, Cajun or Polish, friendly or an a-hole...Winning games and graduating players is what he will be here to do and is really all that matters.
I was told today that Carl Pelini is very interested in the job and that he contacted Louie Cook today and asked Louie to put in a good word for him. Louie went up to Nebraska this past summer for a coaches clinic and the two got to know each other.
