I'm very happy with the coach we hired, and think he was the best option for us with all of the names mentioned. I just thought it was funny that after seemingly being prevented from interviewing for the Cajuns job, it looks like Gary Crowton may be out at LSU.

I think they mean their athletic department. Which is true from what I have heard.

They announced earlier today on WWL radio that Les Miles reportedly told Crowton "to look for another job".

I think the coaches base salaries are through the state like UL's coaches. I think that TAFF pays all of the salary over the base amount (which is about 90%).
