Co-offensive line coordinator, awesome. I hope it's not the option offense.

I think the list is out. There are 8 candidates... 4 will be interviewed. 1 will be hired.

Will all of the candidates have spent some time with Farmer?

J/K. Does it concern any of you that if we hire Monken, Brent Pry will return as our D- coordinator?

Not too much. We stunk on Defense before him and we stunk after he left.

The best scoring defense UL has had in the last 15 years was Brent Pry's the year he was fired.

My sources tell me the candidates will be interviewed by Friday and Hudspeth is not officially out, had to give a direct quote because he is on the road recruiting today in Alabama. Mississippi State is getting hammered right now in recruiting because of all the rumors circulating around the program with Mullen as a possible candidate at Miami.

Was his last year '05 or '06?

Thanks. I wanted to be sure. 2006 we went 6-6, so it is not fair to say we never won. Key games from that year: Win FAU 6-0, Loss North Texas 16-7, Win Houston 31-28 (only allowed 7 points in the 2nd half), Loss Middle Tennessee 34-20 (we had 6 turnovers). There were, however, several games where we allowed big points 42 to Troy and 39 to Monroe.

My point is you can't completely blame Pry for the fact that we "never won" or didn't go bowling that year . In my opinion, it had as much to do with Bustle not making tough decisions regarding our quarterback situation as it did with the defense.
