My nephew is essentially irrelevant to the story. What is important is that every coach on the Northshore heard from his coach that UL has a Mickey Mouse program.

So....he didn't sign anywhere?

He had that passing efficiency accuracy ability out of HS. It was his long ball talents were never utilized at UL leading many to speculate he lacked in that department.

This anecdote reminds me of how everyone gets butthurt over their kid (or player, if you're a HS coach) not getting interest from UL. It's like we OWE them a scholarship just for being from south Louisiana. Somehow we became the coona** catch-all for whoever Coach T-Boy thought we should sign.
