It's going to be difficult to work Hudspeth's name into the fight song.

Congratulations to our new coach. I'm so very excited about this hire because it is one of the best things to happen to our school in the past 100 years!

What should we expect? Not much the first year. Give him time and he will bring us a winner, but don't expect miracles in 2011.

ToBS, dont kid yourself. If we can shore this defense up a bit, the skill people returning on offense could give us a decent year next year....

The Daily Advertiser has confirmed from an anonymous source within UL that Mississippi State assistant coach Mark Hudspeth has accepted UL's offer to become the next head football coach of the UL Ragin' Cajuns. Check Saturday's newspaper for more.

I am so pumped about our new coach. What a quality hire!! Second straight quality hire. Its so surreal to have people talking about a coach we hired as a quality hire. These are special days we are embarking on brothers. And all without Matt Viator!!!
