So....is Hudspeth the Bob Marlin of college football? Thoughts?
Boomer....there was a little hold up, but I "think" it can and will be resolved today and he will be named at NOON! (And before someone comes on and asks who said noon today, I am saying that is my guess...which is part of the fun of being a fan right now.)
Then I can put the Prozac down.

So it seems that public opinion is swaying towards Hudspeth....What type of offense will we see if Hudspeth is our man....(Please tell me that the quarterback will be under center from time to time)
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results!"
For out of town media, I think they announce a press conference the day before.

It's a spread offense similar to what we ran before.
And no, we can't be under center because even in the shotgun the QB has less than 2 seconds to get rid of the ball before he's on his back. UL cannot (and will not, and should not) run a pro style offense.
I too am a bit concerned about running the same scheme, because this means we must upgrade our talent. We haven't been a solid recruiting school compared to our peers in a while (ever?).
Our success will depend 80% on our increased recruiting ability with a new coaching staff if Hudspeth is hired.
It's one of the reasons why I'm open to Sewak. All of a sudden the recruiting game is changed.
