Since he was in the hunt before pulling his name for the monroe job last year (allegedly due to their lack of resources) and now he has been in the hunt for this job I would say he wants to be a HC. Not to be argumentative but who says he would be the OC at Florida if Mullen were to go there?

Except he's had more success getting his kids to run it than most do. But I know what you mean. It's not the "Air Raid" offense (mesh, verticals), it's the Rich Rodriguez/Urban Myer shotgun offense.

ESPN broke the news last night, Mullen is not going to Florida or Miami. He has been given a contract extension and raise out of all these coaching rumors. And no, Hudspeth would not have been a candidate for the Miss. State job had Mullen left to take one of the jobs in Florida.
