Same here....I've had the pleasure of getting to be personal friends with Rickey...and no one took it harder for the Cajuns not to succeed than him. He is a quality individual, who gave it his best...fell in love with Acadiana, and it just didn't work out for him. Tonight, my heart goes out to him, his wife Ms Lynne...and Brad Bustle. Thanks for everything...and I hope you are able to stay here in Acadiana, where I know you want to be. Thanks one more time Rickey.

I think this group understands that Bustle was given a lot of time to turn things around and he did that. Many people won't agree with that but he made .500 unacceptable and while we didn't have as much success in the SBC as we would have liked, he did what you want each coach to do and that's lead your program with class and leave it in better hands than what he received it. I appreciate coach Bustle and his staff and I wish them the very best.

Thank you for defeating ULM and keeping them from bowl eligibility. This will not be forgotten by this Cajun fan. Good luck in your future endeavors where ever they may take you.

3 straight wins over ULM is pretty sweet. _
Yep, and thanks to the players for winning this one for the university. Babb and Fenroy rained on ULM's parade in 2005. I didn't think we would pull it off this time. Interesting that a blocked PAT was the difference, given that kick blocks will be one of the hallmarks of the Bustle era.

    Good point by you.

I think blocked kicks will be how Bustle will be remembered most often.

I think his 4-1000 accomplishments with Fenroy will be most cherished.

Ironic way to win the last game of his career at UL.

Are we sure he is even gone? Anything official? I wish Bustle the best but it is time we part ways.
