Sproles shines, but K-State looks vulnerable

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - He took the ball, spotted a hole to his right and sped 80 yards, outrunning the defensive secondary all the way to the 1-yard line.

It was perhaps the most eye-popping run in the game where Darren Sproles thrilled Kansas State fans by snapping the team rushing record.

Only it wasn't Sproles who made this run. And instead of thrilling Wildcat fans, it ought to worry them deeply.

Jerry Babb, a 6-foot-3 pocket passer who is, to put it kindly, not fleet of foot, embarrassed Kansas State's defense all the way down the field.
