Thread: Gautier provides glimpse into future

  1. Default Gautier provides glimpse into future

There were flashes of brilliance from UL sophomore quarterback Blaine Gautier on Saturday at Cajun Field against Florida International.

A perfectly-arched spiral nestled into the hands of tight end Ladarius Green for a 50-yard touchdown. A keeper up the middle turned into a 55-yard touchdown, with Gautier leaving the FIU secondary gasping for breath.

The glimpse into the future was very similar to the past.

The Cajuns should be solid next season at QB with the two that they'll have returning.

I guess you're suggesting that Gautier and Hollingsworth will transfer?

Nope. I was talking about them being solid with Brad and Chris both being healthy and both returning for their seinor year. Gautier only played because both were injured. I wasn't counting the backups.

I think we will be solid at qb but I think becuase of the playing time Blaine is getting he is the best all around quarterback on our roster.
