What keeps your faith?

I got a chance to go to the UL bookstore the other day and bought a ton of stuff. What made me do this? Our teams suck and will hopefully get better but I will be a Cajun fan until they are throwing dirt in my face in a pine box. I guess it is just love for the university. What's your reason?

My team never sucks. I always support out student athletes through thick and thin. Plus, I absolutely hate folks who ride coattails, don't support their alma mater or jump bandwagons.

Our basketball team is looking much better. Marlin seems to be a great hire but football has been a dismal failure for the last decade or so. Maybe if the next football coach is a quality hire football will no longer suck. Your team didn't suck with the debacle against WKU? Perhaps I'm just no getting what you are saying. I'm not one to boo or call for heads of our players just our coaches when they clearly suck. When you think about it keeping bad coaches around for a decade is doing a disservice to our student players. Busted should have been fired immediately after the McNeese.

I've got so much UL gear it would be far too expensive to find a new team. Haha and cause its in my blood to be a cajun fan.

UL gave me an awesome degree and an awesome education. I worked too hard at school not to take pride in it. You just gotta love Lafayette, and if you love Lafayette you gotta love Louisiana...and by Louisiana I mean the Cajuns.

...plus, the Saints won the freakin' Superbowl after being horrible for year after year after year...after year. It made watching Tracy Porter run that interception back oh so much sweeter. It's only a matter of time before the Cajuns are beating LSU in bowl games and making final 4 appearances every other year.
