_ If we make free throws we win the game tonight. Daigle kept us in it. Not a bad showing on the road against a good team. This team is going to come around. I like what I saw even though we lost. Marlin will win more than his share of games. _

Final score was 63 to 58 in favor of Creighton. In addition to the free throws lack of an inside game also hurt. Wallace scored a few in the first half but in the 2nd half we got nothing inside. That likely will be an issue all year.

Jay put it best. We were below average shooting and Free throw shooting as a team and we still played hard enough to stay in it. didn't turn over the ball much which is a good sign. But it looks like we were dominated on the boards. This is the happiest I've been over a loss cause i really like the future of this team. We will only get better.

We played good enough defense to win, but FT's and Brown/Perez shoot 7-26 from the field killed us. Brown forces too many shots, he needs to be more patient and stop playing out of control at times. Not having Travis Bureau (sick) hurt as well.
