_ It is interesting that even the McNeese people seem to be pushing him for our HC. While he certainly seems qualified, I wonder why they wouldn't be more concerned about losing him and especially losing him to us. Do some people want to see him leave? _

_ BTW: I am a very close friend of Matts for the past 30 years, I'm also an X ole Augie Doggie playing for the Cajuns years ago and now have a son on the UL Football and Track teams...Yes he chose UL over McNeese....

I know very many McNeese fans and they do not want Viator to leave other than if it was his wishes then they will wish him well because that is the respect they have for him and they truly like him as a person. Now that they know Viator is staying they are relieved.

If Matt Viator was really interested in the UL job and he has aspirations to move up one day, he better leave McNeese on his own and get a little more than McNeese and High School coaching gigs on his resume.
