I don't think the guy is a troll, just an obvious close personal friend of Viator.
If one of my good buddies was in the running for being UL's coach, you can bet I'd try my best to push the positives.
Matt Viator most probably won't be our next coach, but I think we can all agree he has been pretty successful and has the potential for a bright future.
It probably just won't be with UL, and that's OK.
I never said Viator should be the coach. If you are referring to my question yesterday, much like today it was simply a question to get a better understanding of Candidates for the position. I don't spend all day like some people consumed with this coaching search but I do like to be a little informed about it. So i ask questions in the hopes that intelligent people give an answer.
You have to single anyone who is brand new to this board and watch them in their motives. The McNeese trolls are running in here hot because we just interviewed their little coachie coach. They are easy to spot, always championing Viator and scolding us when we don't fully agree that he is the best choice. That and they take offense to any McNeese hatred, which for any real Cajun fan....is kinda fun. Of all the affiliated trolls...I like the La Tech ones the best, they are usually very respectful and become recurring posters. Second are the actual LSU alums they are nice guys. Were the dropoff happens is the McNeese farm hands and the paper tigers, oh the paper tigers.
I would really like Matt Viator as HC of UL football. I feel he is qualified in every way.
Only thing is there is someone else I really, really, like.
From him I expect, the next level. igeaux.mobi
Like Hawk, I also question if these guys are actually UL fans. Look at the join dates. From reading the few posts they have their only motivation for joining the boards seems to be to pimp Viator. We have never seen them here before to talk UL sports. I guess the telling clue will be whether or not they are here for the long haul to discuss and support UL sports.
