He has the quickest release I have ever seen!! Couldn't make the game last night, but managed to pick it up here in the hinterlands. Kinda had to laugh when Jay would announce Perez had the ball, and had to add quickly "it's a three".

_ Good point. Personally I hope we keep padding the attendance. If Tulane can convice themselves they have 27,000 people at their football games, I could be led to believe that we had 3500 there tonight. _

Attendance figures reported are likely tickets sold, not actual fans there.

Note Farrington was 3 of 10 at the line. He was the main guy responsible for the shortcoming there although he played well otherwise. He kept leaving his free throws short and was getting frustrated with his lack of success there. I bet he keeps working on this and improves as the year progresses.

They did play in spurts and you could tell that this drove coach nuts in the interview after the game. You can tell he is not very happy with the progress with the team right now. I find that to be very encouraging. I do think that having Andrews and the freshman back will help.

_ I can't figure out our attendance figures this year. 2708 for the 1st game seemed a little bit over but not extravagant. 3488 for New Mexico State which I thought was closer to 4000 and then 3568 tonight. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but we didn't have close to that. It was a decent crowd for a rainy Monday night against a Division II team, but there's no way we had 3500. Not really important just random thoughts. _

Maybe its been so long since we've had that many people in the dome that no one remembers what it looks like.
