I can't figure out our attendance figures this year. 2708 for the 1st game seemed a little bit over but not extravagant. 3488 for New Mexico State which I thought was closer to 4000 and then 3568 tonight. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but we didn't have close to that. It was a decent crowd for a rainy Monday night against a Division II team, but there's no way we had 3500. Not really important just random thoughts.

The way he ran the point tonight, he could be a major contributor for the Cajuns. He was undersized but he was quick.

Corporate ticket sales increased season tickets by 33% but they don't put butts in the seats.

Sounds like it was a heck of a game by Bureau. 16 pts 14 rebounds 4 steals 3 blocks

Good point. Personally I hope we keep padding the attendance. If Tulane can convice themselves they have 27,000 people at their football games, I could be led to believe that we had 3500 there tonight.

Maybe we are just using the same counting methods that our peers have been using. If it works for them why not use it to pad our attendance?

Couldn't agree more. The only thing that threw me off was that Friday's game was lower than tonight's and Friday's was by far the highest attended game.

Quite frankly, Bureau dominated when he wanted to. He was the only guy along with Farrington who had sustained success throughout the game and gave consistent effort and Marlin mentioned that in the post game interview. He was a mismatch everywhere he played, especially the 4 spot and his athleticism put him over everybody else. He is going to be our X factor this year for sure. I would have liked to see us try to keep up the pace we started the game with in pressing and trapping as we turned them over a lot and got easy transition baskets early. What was more impressive was that they jumped out on LC but never allowed them to make it a true game. We kept them at a distance and put the game away for good with about 5 minutes to go. it was nice to see.
