Great post guys/ladies, really made for good reading. I was getting board watching future DWTS champ Palin act surprised that she's still in the mix.

It was a pleasure to watch DB handle batters for the cajuns. It will be bittersweet when she puts on another teams uniform but you can't help but wish her the best except if her new team plays the cajuns.

I'd have to go back to read some of the parting shots taken on Yvette when she bolted but her leaving didn't kill our program. DB's leaving will not either.

One day the Lotief's will retire, leaving behind their impressive accomplishments and guess what, the team will survive.

To sum up, the Lady Cajuns will survive and if all goes well so will DB, the Lotief's and yes, even LSU. I guess when all is said and done, life goes on and so must we.

Why have a meeting with the players to tell them that "there is a special on releases, if anyone wants to go you can go." This because the AD directed the lotiefs to grant releases to those that wished to go. Don't be fooled by words, because the actions of the coaches speak much louder. Good luck Donna, and the others that have left. No doubt not the last. Whispers from some SEC people that its not players that are trying to go to that conference.

    David Walker is a trip.

Players are invited to leave at will and coaches are given forever contracts.

From what I understand Soria just burned out on softball and no longer wanted to play. It was said that she is still part of the team just not as a player. So I don't think there is a problem.

Ashley Ray transferred to Nicholls State, but she started only seven of 43 games played in the previous two years.

my lasting memory of her is from that wcws game where an out shoulda been made at third [if i recall correctly], but wasn't, and the camera then caught her on the mound dropping one of the most apropos f-bombs i've even seen an athlete drop. i'm not being critical, i thought it showed her fire.

A well placed F bomb is one of life's simple joys, IMO.

Bonus points if it's on TV, lol.

I saw it as a failure on her part to control her emotions.

Come to think of it, that's how I see the current situation.

Thumbs up on the live TV f bomb. It's even better when you actually hear it. I was watching a Jets game a couple of weeks back, and the ball was thrown to Braylon Edwards by the Jets bench, he didn't catch it and a loud and audible sound came out..."You no catching mother______er!!" Me and my dad have been using that as our go to phrase when we don't catch what is thrown to us. God gives us live sports, and he is a kind and loving god.

Britney is not playing softball...period. She is still in school and chose to not play any longer. Regardless, every program will have unhappy student athletes. There are those who will be unhappy with lack of playing time, even though they were recruited and brought in with 2 others that play their very position and decide to leave in 2 years when they aren't seeing the field. You can't make everyone happy man. I'm just disappointed that Donna decided to leave as well. She's a local young lady with family here and I'm sure she would have chosen to stay and finish here but like Cajun T said, nobody here has the true story and i'm sure there are two sides to that story.
