One therory could be that she did not want to to be the workhorse/whipping board any longer. Our pitchers are frequently asked to go beyond normal limits at times, subjecting themselves to injury.
Ask Brignac.

Unreal. Other than Brooke Mitchell I would say we do not over use pitchers. And it did not seem to affect Brooke, she had a great career. Brignac injured herself playing summer ball and playing SS. From what I understand she dove for a ball when she hurt her shoulder.
If you want to talk over work, look at the top programs in the nation in Washington, Tennessee, and many others and they will have one pitcher pitch way more innings than what we do here at UL. Brignac and Bourgeois shared innings their first year. Last year Bourgeois and Chauvis shared innings. UL does not over use pitchers.
One therory could be that she wants to to be the workhorse/whipping board her senior year and didn't want to split time with Brignac.
I sure hope she isnt going to end up at LSU.
Brignac will never be as effective as she was before her injury.
I also sure hope that the Lotief's didnt screw this up. I know one of them can be very abrasive.
if you read josh's blog, you will realize her options are limited to go somewhere... the SEC doesnt allow senior transfers and sunbelt requires 2 year sit out. so, you do the math and think where she will go... Mcneese? Big XII school?? who knows?? but it wont be LSU. even if she did go to LSU, we WIN that match EVERTIME!! (history has shown that the last few meetings...)
Wow, Prima-Donna? Perhaps that kind of attitude that played a role in her decision. How'bout, thanks for all you did and best wishes in the future?
Hey. She made a decision and contributed a lot to this program.
She made a decision to leave. Its over with. The reasons that she left are between her and the Lotiefs.
