If you make it...you win!
If you make it...you win!
Somebody start a poll on this one. Go for 2 or not? I'm curious on what the majority opinion is.
I agreed with the call.

On the road go for 2. At home go for the tie. All coaches would call it that way.

Go for 2. Only under these exact circumstances.

Way to go out Bustle.....I would have kicked the FG and keep the excitement in the team to want to at least win the game. By going for 2 and the chance of not making it, you kill the team spirit and motivation for a winning streak to end the season.......
Good coach just lost how to relate to today’s players.
That's the on the road rule for a conference game - go for 2. Though whether conf or not didn't matter. FIU will be a load next week. Can we beat ULM?
Disagree with the call. You don't have a QB starting in his first game saddled with pulling off his first 2 point conversion. You have the momentum. You can lose by a field goal in the final 90 seconds either way. You tie the game and take it to overtime. We scored the last 10 points in the damn game. We weren't on the ropes. FAU was. I don't get it.
On the road, playing just for pride, you go for it. It was the right decision to go for it, personally I think you go to green with the corner fade route but other than that sounds like gautier played well

Hindsight is always 20/20, but I disagree. Your team has all the momentum at the end of the game, when you win the ball game. Overtime would have benefited us and put pressure on them. I think it would have been to our advantage to rely on three series of plays (two defense, one offense) than just one offense play to win the game.
