No doubt other things are at play other than just depth. A change at the top is needed.

However when teams like the Cajuns, or North Texas experience large numbers of injuries across many positions I think it makes it difficult to even compete against a healthy SBC team.

The amount of injuries we have suffered are a direct result of the strength and conditioning program IMO. To many similar injuries occurred under the past Strength Coaches tenure for the two to not be directly related to each other.

I have to agree, the athletic program has one of the weakest strength and conditioning programs around. Granted this was one of the toughest football schedules in many years but we should have been better conditioned for the season. I was observing many of the basketball players tonight at the game and thinking they really look like they spent no time in the weight room and I think it shows with the frequency of injuries with the basketball team.

    2 facts...

    1) Injuries are a real problem.
    2) Contributing factors need to be identified and eliminated.

I think he's earned the right to play out the season. But that's about it.

And when a long time Bustle supporter (some may say "apologist") feels that way, you know the end is near.

It doesn't matter who you bring in for the last 3 games, we are too injured for that to make any bit of difference. _
I've been reading the "Bustle must go" threads for a while now. Yes, I TOO am disappointed with the way the season has played out, and I've wondered why injuries were never mentioned. Well since they FINALLY have been I just want to make a statemen Yes, I KNOW that injuries are a part of football, but has ANYONE seen THIS?!?!?
We should change our mascot to the "M*A*S*H Unit"!! I am NOT a coach, I DON"T pretend to know about coaching, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but can ANYONE out here name a coach to have so many players hurt in ONE season and still do well??? My GOD, we STILL almost beat Troy!! Good coaching is usually spelled: "P-L-A-Y-E-R-S"!! I know I'm in the minority, but It's a SHAME if he gets fired over this season! This is a SHELL of the team that began the season and they haven't quit(Dallas) on him! Take shots if you want, but these are just my thoughts.

40W's and 63L's after nine seasons...that’s why he should be fired.

What looked like the toughest schedule pre-season is not really panning out that way. Georgia and Ole Miss are hovering around .500 records. OK State and Ohio are doing well. Every team in the SBC has a losing record except Troy.

With 105 players floating around there should always be enough talent to step in and fill the roll.

A big deal was made when Baldwin left Bustle with 48 scholarships, well what good does having 85 scholarships and 20 walk ons if they can't fill in and do the job.
