I've said it before, I'll say it again - We're the National Champions of Moral Victories - the NCMV committee didn't even want to schedule the championship game - we've been that dominant for years, nobody was even close to our caliber !!! LOL !!

No doubt, Brad overthrew Ladarius when he was one on one but our offensive line wasn't holding up well enough. In my nonexpert opinion, I thought we still had plenty of time for crossing route and to roll Brad out with run/pass options. It seemed like once we got to the ~20 yd line we decided we were going to the end zone.

Seriously, sometimes I think the UL football program must have had some type of voodoo curse put on it. It doesn't seem like we're EVER going to have a winning program. I mean, today we force four turnovers and recover two onsides kicks, outgain the opposing team, and LOSE???!!! _
Because we never have a defense. Never. We never win games because or D is dominant. Any recent success that we have had has been because the offense was potent enough to overcome the shortcomings on D. We have seen some pretty good offense over the years, but the defense has been a different story. Yeah, we have had some moments on D, but nothing consistent or dominant.

We have not had a "D" since Vic Eumont was D-Cord and Orlando Thomas was taking heads off being the big hitter!

No, he didn't. Personally, I like Stevie P. I like the combo of Jay and Steve. I think the animosity on this board regarding him is a result of the season. When basketball kicks up and if we're doing well, we won't hear anyone complain of them. They are doing their job, like it or not. They are trying to keep people interested, regardless of how the team is. I can't fault them. Yeah, you want them to tell it like it is. But we all know how it is. We don't need them to say it on the air. But they have to walk a fine line. Just my 2 cents.
