What is missing is the repurcussions if a school does not meet the "150" rule. Perhaps a school missing it does not get all the NCAA money. Also, I don't see how teams will meet the minimum no. of home games rule while meeting the 150 rule and not be being allowed to play any non D1 games.

The new set of standards, set to begin with the 2011-12 season, is "The 150 Rule." The expectation there is that Sun Belt schools will compete with the top half of NCAA Division I teams in one of two ways: if the three-year average RPI of its non-conference opponents is no greater than 150 or by finishing with an institutional RPI of 150 or better _
